Free Podcast Hosting... And More

First of all, if you're paying for podcast hosting, STOP. You don't need to. If anything, YOU should be getting paid.

That's right, PAID. Wouldn't you like to get paid for your podcast? Even if it were just a little bit? Sure you would. Everybody likes money.

Okay, I know your next question -- how much of the ad revenue do you get? Well, I told the CEO we should only give you 10%, but he nixed that. Either he doesn't have a head for money, or he's just really nice. Because...

You get 50% of all ad revenue.

That's audio ads in your podcast AND banner ads on all the pages for your podcast.

So, say advertisers are paying $30 for every 1000 downloads. You, then, earn $15 for every 1000 downloads.

Okay, so no Malibu beach house, but that's way better than shelling money OUT, right?

How do I get paid?
Exclusively through Paypal. Set up a Paypal account if you don't already have one.

When do I get paid?
At the end of each month, your total earnings are calculated. After you earn at least $100, we send you payment. So, say you earn $50 in October, then $60 in November. Your payment would in the first half of December for $110.

Can I really choose which advertisers I put on my podcast?
Yes! When we have more than one advertiser willing to sponsor your podcast, you can choose which one you like the best. By default, we'll assign you the one who is bidding the highest for the ad spots.

What's all the hullaballoo about "stations"?
Stations are groups of similarly-themed podcasts, selected by a Station Director. This network of podcasts help grow each others' audiences. Cross-pollination. Symbiosis. Some other biology metaphor.

Do I have to be part of a station?
Nope. You don't have to eat your vegetables, either, but it's better for you if you do.

What if there's no station for my area of interest?
You can become the station director of a new station! Find out more about managing a podcast station.

What if no station director wants my podcast?
What if nobody wants to dance with me? What if the boys all think I'm ugly? Put on some makeup, sister! Improve your podcast, and make 'em want you!

Can I include sexually explicit stuff in my podcast?
No way, José. We have some standards to keep up. Also, we don't want our whole site blocked by filters just because YOU had to talk dirty.
